Pembrokeshire Dive Charters
is an R.Y.A. Powerboat School, as well as a dive centre. It provides shore-based courses in all the usual subjects, as well as practical training in powerboat handling from the basic Level 1 through to Advanced. For the boater with cruising in mind, practical Day Skipper and Yachtmaster courses are also available.
As the Chief Instructor, I endeavour to ensure that students get the maximum time on the water for the practical courses, and offer RNLI Sea Checks for those with their own boats.
What else is available?
‘Boat Maintenance’ is a one day, classroom based course, for those who live in fear of what they do not know! GRP construction. (Why does it go wrong?) Osmosis. (How serious is it?) Corrosion. (Where have my anodes / propellers / outdrives gone?) Stress cracks, damage repair or just fitting new cleats, this course is where to look for an introduction to the mysteries of GRP and metal corrosion. Call me for more details - 0797 44 11 213.
