Safety Notice by Crewsaver - Lifejackets prior to 1998 by Crewsaver, Barbour, Cosalt, Douglas Gill, Fox, Leeda, Musto or Marlin Brand.  Automatic with United Moulders Mark 3 Automatic Operating Head.  A notice in the March 2005 issue of Motor Boats Monthly warns of a minor modification required to ensure safe operation.  Repeated over tightening of the CO2 bottle can cause wear within the operating head, which may permit gas to escape when the jacket is inflated.    Please visit www.crewsaver.co.uk/mk3 for full information and a free ‘O’ ring to solve the potential problem.
